reincarnated as a dragon egg is an entriely different story to the "spider so what" dragon, the plot is a lot different. The manga is really good, epsecially the art style. but i wish translation websites pick it up. translations are slow :/

This story is based off of an ancient 5000 year old chineas story. No further adaption is needed, I'm not a fan of the way China is now but it has a rich story and respectable.

The ratings for Donghua are like Film ratings in the west they're always bullshit like if Saving Private Ryan was Chinese I bet half the score would be BS

As much as I loved this adorable anime, there were lots of loose knots that will never be covered. What about the boy who wanted to “rescue” her? What about the god of hunt teaching him that weird skill? And also, we never got to meet the demon lord.

your assuming their is no more plot its an adaption of a Light Novel also not everything needs to matter to grand plot

Not everything needs to have a grander plot, but a grand plot certainly makes things better, at least for me

I actually don't like AOT and I avoid all major anime, like Naruto and DBZ. The ONLY anime I watch are the niche ones.

My favorite anime actually is Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy. It's pretty popular and somewhat cliche, but it was my first real anime so it holds a spot in my heart

Durarara an Baccano are both anime which have many characters all doing their own stories in the same place an they overlap a ton

I mean, based on what she said last episode right after getting in dragon form, I thought it'd be smth like this. maybe the first energy orb attack lands and that snaps her out of it

This was...Odd, to say the least. Felt like a fever dream of sort. That and second time watching chinese/chinese dubbed anime.

Mc "Dragon" got old fast, a pain to watch later episodes, though it did have some good moments here and there but yeah. Got a bit of redemption at the end too but still.
Mc girl is main star here, also very odd but more likable than the other Mc at the very least, to say the least.
Other characters such as the Saint and General were pretty good too, though as odd as the rest were pretty much.
Other characters aside from Mc "Dragon" generally are more likable and had more substance e.g., actual character background, character, growth, etc.

All in all, interesting watch.
Mc "Dragon" kinda ruined it for me though but still prettt much was a good watch, or at the very least okay.

Edit: The OP & ED songs were quite lovely to listen to. The animations were oddly cute and charming in a way.

Not sure what you are trying to get at but if I can recall it right, at least for me, the Mc Dragon was one of the worse if not the worst character in the series. That and it is less abou them being a dragon but more on them being an actually likable character rather. I just mentioned Dragon since Mc is a Dragon, no more no less.

I found the rest of the casts more interesting and have more development than the Mc.

Like I said, for the third time now, the Dragon did not seem to be likable as the rest to me, to say the least. That and I'd say he is another Mc or a character with a major part/presence anyways. Dragon is literally pretty much 24/7 by the child's side.
